Funded money raised through luncheons and fundraisers, our Robinhood Portfolio was the first that we created and allowed us to learn about the basics of investing. More recently, their offering of commission-free options trading has allowed us to explore more complex strategies such as protective puts and vertical spreads.
HOWTHEMARKETWORKS LEARNING TOOL
HowTheMarketWorks.com is an online real-time simulator for trading stocks in which our club members will be competing against each other by each investing virtual money into markets of their choice and comparing their returns. Â They will be trading stocks with virtual money at real prices for both short-term and long-term investments. Â This will not only teach our club members how to trade stocks and mutual funds, but will also help them understand the value of the money that they are trading, so they will be serious investors when it comes to investing real money.
