OUR STORY
Hunter Finance Club is a student-based club founded in 2018. With amazing support from both faculty and the student-body we have grown significantly since our beginnings.
MISSION
Financial markets enable a society to efficiently allocate its resources which facilitates economic growth. Our goal is to educate our club members to make better investment decisions in the future. Each week, we discuss how and why banks work, stocks and financial markets function, cryptocurrencies fluctuate, and more. We also discuss current events and how they affect capital markets at most, if not all, of our club meetings. We also invite external speakers for presentations and discussions. We learn by hosting discussions every club meeting and using a trading simulation such as howthemarketworks.com and through investing real money with Robinhood. (Click to learn more)
